It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted anything!! Thank you to everyone who made October, November and December such amazing months for me!! I took a week off to fully devote my attention to the kids and my husband and I believe I’m ready to jump back in the waters!
Just a few days after Christmas I had the pleasure of photographing a Amanda’s wedding in Seattle! I think we were all relieved that the snow had melted enough to drive safely and endure a few outdoor photos!

I love this!! I loved how ever time I turned around Amanda’s parents were just staring at her so proudly!!

They really are this awesome!!!

Thanks, you two, for the wonderful opprotunity to photograph such a beautiful couple!

Thanks for the patience, as this is long long over due!! Between traveling to the East Coast, kids getting sick, finding and buying a new computer, as well as trying to make sure that every one gets those images in time for the holiday cards….things have been a little wild.
If you’ve been checking back, I said this previously that this wedding was absolutely beautiful!!! It took place at Annie Wright School, where Amy spent some of her formative years.
So, in no particular order…..and trust me when I say it was hard to chose my favorites…..here you go!!!!

Jason waiting to get his first glance.

Jason’s mom hand made all of these boxes AND the truffles inside!!

I’ve been to lots of weddings, but I’ve never been to a wedding where the smell of the cake was SO tempting!! Every time I walked past is I could smell the chocolate!!

Once again, Congratulations Jason and Amy!!

It has been quite the weekend for me!
I’m going to do a more extensive Atherton Wedding post, once I can actually whittle down to a reasonable number of images for a “sample” post. The wedding was simply Amazing and I wish I had the time to process all of the images tonight and share them ALL with you.
This Saturday was also Capprico 2008 (Tacoma Opera’s Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction) at the Hotel Murano. It was a HUGE honor to be asked provide an auction item. If you’re looking for ideas for a great date night, find a sitter and get your Tacoma Opera Tickets!!!

This is usually a second shooter shot, but since I was on my own on Saturday, I had to do a little running
, so I was pretty excited about this shot!
